Feeding the grass and the soil — Chemical fertilizer programs neglect the soil. Standard nitrogen/phosphorus/potassium fertilizers are wonderful for supplying the grass plant with the required nutrients. But to create a truly healthy lawn, your soil needs nourishment. Your soil is teeming with living microbes that need to be fed in order to create the correct natural balance intended by Mother Nature.
My specially formulated granular organic-based fertilizer consists of 50% rich organic matter with slow release nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and iron. This unique combination creates a deep green color that lasts over time and doesn't create "surge growth" and "lawn decline" so common with chemical lawn care programs.
The visual results will be a consistent emerald green appearance throughout the growing season. The longer this process is used on your lawn, the better the results, because the organic matter builds on the previous application to create a well-fed "living" soil, resulting in a naturally healthy lawn.

Visits will be timed at four to six weeks apart to ensure that weeds, insects and disease are kept from inundating your lawn. I'll attend to every aspect of the process during each visit. Responsible Pesticide Use — LawnGuru practices Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for a safer, healthier environment. Occasionally your lawn will need some herbicides (for weed control), insecticides (for pests), or fungicides (for diseases). But these will be used ONLY when and if needed.

If a no-chemical organic lawn care program is what you desire, I have the most successful 100% organic program in the Northeast. My combination of liquid organic nutrients and granular organic matter will actually shrink your weeds out of sight and feed the grass and the soil, giving you a truly healthy organic lawn.

O2 thickening is an exclusive LawnGuru process of rejuvenating your lawn by supplying oxygen to your soil and overseeding with superior insect- and disease-resistant grass varieties for a thicker, healthier and safer lawn.
Fall is the ideal time of the year for lawn repairs and rejuvenation. That's when I recommend O2 thickening. A core aeration machine removes small plugs from your lawn, allowing oxygen to penetrate the soil structure and root system. Then seed is spread over the entire lawn. The new seed works its way into the loose soil and spaces we've created, which form the perfect seed germination environment.
The end result is a thicker, healthier and completely rejuvenated lawn.
